Mufti Faraz Adam spent almost a decade studying Islamic Law. He completed his Islamic studies in the six-year long Alimiyyah degree at Darul Uloom, in Leicester, and graduated as a Mufti in South Africa at Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah, in Durban, with a specialist pathway into Islamic Finance. Mufti Faraz Adam then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Islamic Finance, Banking and Management at the University of Newman in 2017. Alongside this, he attained various industry qualifications.

Mufti Faraz Adam is the director of Amanah Finance Consultancy Ltd; a platform for specialist global Shariah advisory services. He is a Shariah advisor at a number of Islamic finance institutions in the UK, Bahrain, Dubai, Singapore and Malaysia.

With his wide range of experience and trusted advice to many Islamic organisations, we were happy to welcome Mufti Faraz Adam as an independent Shariah advisor to I Will Solicitors in 2017. He has helped to provide detailed Shariah guidance to us on a wide range of issues pertaining to Islamic Wills, marriage and divorce, ownership rights and much more. Mufti Faraz Adam certified our Islamic Wills as Shariah Compliant, and has also wrote blogs on our site with specialist Islamic knowledge and fatawaa.
